We are looking for a relief cleaner to help out when our cleaner has a holiday. Please see the wardens if you are interested or know anyone who might be interested. Also anyone who would be interested in taking on the verger’s job at weddings and funerals.
St Mary’s School are collecting emergency supplies for the homeless for a charity (CHALK) based in Oswestry. They are collecting toiletries, hats, scarves and gloves if you are able to help out.
If you have a collection box for the Archbishop’s Fund for children please can you let the vicar have it as soon as possible.
The Brymbo male voice choir will be singing in All Saints on 19th November at 7pm. Please see Tish Pickles for tickets (12.50 including refreshments).
Looking ahead....we have tables at the Ruabon Frost Fair on Saturday 2nd December. St Mary’s will have chocolate tombola (sweets and chocolates please) and St John’s will have a children’s lucky dip. All donations welcome. The Cefn Christmas fair is on December 5th and we shall be doing the teas and coffees. Donations of cakes and mince pies welcome.
