Saving money on energy costs. Come to the Plas Madoc Opportunities Centre on Hampden Way on 22nd January 2018 for information/advice about energy.
The next meeting for Worship Leaders in the Mission Area is on Wednesday 31st January, 7pm at St John’s Rhosymedre.
The next meeting of 'Time well spent' will start on Friday 16th February. Coffee and chat from 11am, a cooked lunch and relax with friends. If you wish to come in January please complete and return a form, if you have a friend or neighbour who would like to join in please do invite them. Thank you. The next planning meeting will be on Monday 5th February at 7pm in the Church Hall.
Ash Wednesday is on February 14th, and there will be a number of Lent groups running in the Mission Area. One will be in St Mary’s Hall on Monday evenings and will use the ‘Leading your Church into Growth’ material. This will be a chance for people to reflect on their own faith as well as on the church as a whole. The first meeting coincides with the Church Committee meeting, and it will be a good way for those on the committee to join with other Christians to look at new ways of working together, and to think about our priorities for the future. Another group will run on Wednesday mornings in St John’s Church starting at 10am.
We would like to buy cushions for the pews in St Mary’s church to make them more comfortable. The cost will be about £100 for each pew. We are looking for donations to make this possible, if you would like to donate money towards the pew cushions please let Berwyn know. Thank you.
The ‘Friends of Ruabon’ Spring Fair will take place on Saturday March 24th. It seems a long way off, but do we have any good ideas for stalls?
