The Fellowship group meets in St Mary’s hall on Wednesdays, 12.30-1.30pm. All are welcome to explore a different passage from the bible each week. During Lent we will be following the Lent course ‘The inheritance of Lent: the generosity of God’ that has been put together by the province.

The next film night at St John’s will be at 6pm on Saturday 23rd March. All are welcome to come and watch a popular film.

This year there will be no Lent boxes as most people have the Christian Aid booklets on climate change that were given out a couple of weeks ago. At the end of Lent we will have a collection for Christian Aid.

The Ruabon Spring Fair is on Saturday 13th April, 1-4pm in the Village Hall. Could we have an Easter themed tombola with a prize every time as this went well last year. All Easter themed contributions welcome!

Ruabon ‘Knit and natter’ have made some Easter chicks, they are on sale in St Mary’s.

The Chrism Eucharist at the Cathedral at 11am on Maundy Thursday is open to anyone who would like to go. Please let the vicar know if you would like to go and to stay for lunch.

A prayer for a shared future in the light of Brexit
God of past, present and future, be with us as we take our next steps as nations together. May we strive to love our neighbour as ourselves, listening and speaking with respectful kindness, embracing difference, remembering how much all have been forgiven by you. May we offer friendship, grant mercy, and seek peace and justice in our shared future. Amen
