Holiday Hunger starts again on Monday 24th July, and runs until September 1st. We meet at 11am at St John’s Church for about an hour. Please sign the list at the back if you are able to help. Thank you
The next meeting of 'Time well spent' will start on Friday 18th August. Coffee and chat from 11am, a cooked lunch and a talk in the afternoon with tea and cake. If you wish to come in August please complete and return a form. Thank you .
If you would like to train as a dementia friend the Alzheimer’s Society is running a session at the George Edwards hall on Monday 24th July at 2pm. All are welcome.
The 29th July is a fifth Sunday, and All Saints, St John’s and St Mary’s will be joining together to celebrate 180 years of St John’s Church at 11am. We hope to organise a lunch out, please let Beulah know if you would like to come to the lunch.
September 12th is the recording date for BBC Wales, the hymns will be recorded in the evening and you are all welcome to swell the number of singers.
If you shop in Tesco during July and August please ask for the tokens and put them in the ‘Holiday Hunger’ box. We have the chance of a grant for the project from Tesco, and the more support we have the more likely we are to get some money towards buying food during the holidays.
